1. Overview

Forest AI Academy collects the minimum data needed to run the Service. We do not sell your data, and the marketing site sets no tracking cookies or analytics pixels.

2. What we collect

• Account data: first name, last name, email address, and language preference.
• Course data: which courses you purchased and which lessons you watch.
• Support data: tickets you create.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. We store the resulting transaction records (amount, date, Stripe identifiers).
• Technical logs: standard server logs (IP address, timestamps) for security and debugging.

3. How we use it

To provide the Service, fulfill purchases, grant course access, answer support requests, send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, confirmations), and prevent abuse.

4. Sharing

We share data only with Stripe (payments) and our email delivery provider, strictly as needed to run the Service. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Retention

Account and purchase records are retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time; transaction records may be retained where required by law.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Open a ticket in the app's Support page or email privacy@forest-ai.academy and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

Data is stored in an access-controlled PostgreSQL database. Authentication uses signed, expiring tokens over HTTPS.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
